LeanSite OÜ’s (“Company” or “Leansite”) Privacy Policy describes what information we gather, how we use and disclose such information, and the steps to protect such information. This Privacy Policy and the Leansite Terms of Service are complimentary. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Policy have the meaning given to them in the Leansite Terms of Service. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, and we encourage all Customers and Users to visit this page frequently to inform yourself of any changes.

Consent to Use and Transfer Data

By submitting your personal data through aLeanSite OÜwebsite („Website” or „Site”) you consent toLeansite’scollection, use, storage and transfer of your personal data to our company databases and repositories, wherever located, for the purposes for which it is submitted and in accordance with the policies set forth in this PrivacyPolicy.

What Information Do We collect and how we use it?

When visiting and using any website and services maintained by Leansite, you may provide Leansite with three types of information:

Generally known “personally identifiable” information, or “personal information,” which is information that specifically identifies an individual (“Personal Data”), and you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis.   2. Website and service use information collected on an aggregate basis as you browse a Leansite maintained websites and services.

  3. Cookies" Information. When you use the Service, we may send one or more cookies – small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your device. Please note that if you delete, or choose not to accept, cookies from the Service, you may not be able to utilize the features of the Service to their fullest potential.

You may provide Leansite with information about you, your firm or company, and your practices when you register to be a user of Leansite, register for certain services, or register for email notifications.

Email Information

If you choose to correspond with Leansite through email, we may retain the content of your email messages along with your email address and Leansite’s responses.

Comments and Interactive Forms

Leansite may collect information if you provide it in feedback or comments or otherwise post information in or to any interactive forms found in any Leansite website. Please do not post any personal information in interactive forms that you expect or wish to keep private.

Website Use Information

Similar to other commercial websites, websites maintained by Leansite utilize a standard technology called "cookies" and web server logs to collect information about how such website is used. Information gathered through cookies and web server logs may include, but is not limited to, your IP address, the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, and the amount of time spent at a website.

How We Use the Information we Collect?

We use information we collect on the Service in a variety of ways in providing the Service and operating our business, including the following:

Data Controller And Processor

Leansite does not own, control or direct the use of any of the information stored or processed by you via Services. Only the Customers or Users are entitled to access, retrieve and direct the use of such information. Leansite is largely unaware of what information is actually being stored or made available by you to the Services and does not directly access such information or data except as authorized by the Customer or as necessary to provide Services to the Customer.

Because Leansite does not collect or determine the use of any Personal Data contained in the Customer data and because it does not determine the purposes for which such personal Data is collected, the means of collecting such Personal Data, or the uses of such data, Leansite is not acting in the capacity of data controller in terms of the European Union’s Directive 95/46/EC on data privacy (“Directive”) and does not have the associated responsibilities under the Directive. Leansite should be considered only as a processor on behalf of its Customers and Users as to any Customer data containing Personal Data that is subject to the requirements of the Directive. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, Leansite does not independently cause Customer data containing Personal Data stored in connection with the Services to be transferred or otherwise made available to third parties, except to third party subcontractors who may process such data on behalf of Leansite in connection with Leansite’s provision of Services to Customers. Such actions are performed or authorized only by the applicable Customer or User.

The Customer or the User is the data controller under the Directive for any Customer data containing Personal Data, meaning that such party controls the manner such Personal Data is collected and used as well as the determination of the purposes and means of the processing of such Personal Data. Leansite is not responsible for the content of the Personal Data contained in the Customer data or other information stored on its servers (or its subcontractors’ servers) at the discretion of the Customer or User nor is Leansite responsible for the manner in which the Customer or User collects, handles disclosure, distributes or otherwise processes such information.

Your Choices

We respect your privacy rights and provide you with reasonable access to the Personal Data that you may provide through the Services. Further, we provide you with the ability to correct inconsistencies of or to update your information. At your request, we will have any reference to you deleted or blocked in our database. At any time, you may legitimately object to the processing of your Personal Data, except if otherwise provided by applicable law.

You may, of course, decline to share certain Personal Data with us, in which case we may not be able to provide to you some of the features and functionality of the Service. You may update, correct, or delete your Account information and preferences at any time by accessing your Account settings page on the Service. If you wish to access or amend any other Personal Data we hold about you, or to request that we delete any information about you that we have obtained from an Integrated Service, you may contact us at privacy@leansiteapp.com. Please note that while any changes you make will be reflected in active user databases instantly or within a reasonable period of time, we may retain all information you submit for backups, archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, analytics, satisfaction of legal obligations, or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so.

You may opt out from sending navigation information about your visit to the Site to Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out page.

If you receive commercial email from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email. You may also opt-out from receiving commercial email from us, and any other promotional communications that we may send to you from time to time, by sending your request to us by email at privacy@leansiteapp.comor by writing to us at the address given at the end of this policy. We may allow you to view and modify settings relating to the nature and frequency of promotional communications that you receive from us in Account functionality on the Service.

Please be aware that if you opt-out of receiving commercial email from us or otherwise modify the nature or frequency of promotional communications you receive from us, it may take up to ten business days for us to process your request, and you may receive promotional communications from us that you have opted-out from during that period. Additionally, even after you opt-out from receiving commercial messages from us, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us regarding the Service.

Leansite has no direct relationship with the Customer’s client or third party whose Personal Data it may process on behalf of a Customer. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, delete inaccurate data or withdraw consent for further contact should direct his query to the Customer or User they deal with directly. If the Customer requests Leansite to remove the data, we will respond to their request within 30 days. In any event, we will delete or amend any Personal Data that we are storing if we receive a written request to do so, unless we have a legal right to retain such Personal Data. Any such request should be addressed to privacy@leansiteapp.comand include sufficient information for Leansite to identify the Customer or its client or third party and the information to delete or amend.

Information Storage

All information Leansite collects is stored in Leansite´s databases and may be kept indefinitely. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or store on the Service, and you do so at your own risk. We also cannot guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. If you believe your Personal Data has been compromised, please contact us at privacy@leansiteapp.com.

If we learn of a security systems breach, then we attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. We may post a notice through the Service if a security breach occurs.

Privacy Protection and Security

If you create an account or register with Leansite, your account information may be password protected. Please create a strong password and keep it in a safe place. Leansite, or users of our websites who post on our websites in interactive forms, may provide links to third party websites, which may have different privacy policies. Leansite does not have any control over the privacy policies of those third party websites, and we encourage all users to read the privacy policies of each and every website visited.

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. When we disclose information. Except as described in this Policy, we will not disclose your information that we collect on the Service to third parties without your consent. We may disclose information to third parties if you consent to us doing so, as well as in the following circumstances:

International Users

By visiting a Leansite website and providing Leansite with information, you acknowledge and consent that Leansite may use the information collected for the reasons outlined in this Privacy Policy or in Leansite’s other communications with you, including the transmission of information outside of your resident jurisdiction. By providing Leansite with your information, either passively or actively, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of such information under the terms herein and to this locale.

Data Retention

We only retain the information collected from you for as long as your account is active or otherwise for a limited period of time as long as we need it to fulfill the purposes for which we have initially collected it, unless otherwise required by law. Children’s Privacy

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 18 without obtaining parental consent.
